Seeking singers for Music Group

Seeking enthusiastic singers to join a new music group for the parishes: You do not need to be able to read music. And you can be from any parish.

Added note: The first meeting of this group will be on Thursday, 27 October, at 8.00pm at the Rectory. It will then meet again on Thursday, 3 November, and on the first and third Thursdays of the month after that. Each meeting is planned to be about an hour.

The purpose of the group is to have a dedicated group of singers who can learn 8 to 10 hymns. You need to be willing to endure singing the same song over and over until all know it. The purpose is to achieve a level of familiarity and ease with the songs so that singing them together is second nature. This is not a choir, and there are no soloists. Instead, this group serves as a strong background to the singing of the congregation.

I am providing a list of songs to the group to learn, but the list might change during the process.
